Duckbill check valves are an alternative to conventional type metallic check valves. By using all rubber construction, there are no parts to jam or oxidize in last position. These valves are commonly used to prevent reverse flow in low pressure applications. Duckbill check valves are being used increasingly more for other check valve applications as well, such as outfall pipelines, overflow tubes, pumping stations, and sewer systems. Duckbill check valves are unique because they are non-slamming, since they have no moving parts.
